Passions, come and gone:

Sports Ski racing (during high school, curtailed by university) - but although coached by a former World Champion, I didn't rise above the club level.  Other dabbles have been tennis, orienteering, racquetball and ultimate frisbee.

Romance Engaged three times (married and divorced once). Thrice in love but not to exactly the same three women.

Academics Glaciology, Geographic Information Systems, Fine Arts (photography).
